Becca’s been helping people find their dream homes for the better part of a decade. She loves helping clients buy, sell, and build. She’s passionate about educating clients on the home buying and selling processes and makes it her mission to be well informed about all aspects of real estate so that she can provide the best possible service.
Previously, Becca was co-owner of Compass Real Estate and Insurance for more than 6 years. She is a licensed insurance agent, as well as a seasoned real estate agent. During her time with Compass, Becca took an active role in more than 400 real estate transactions and helped train and grow more than a dozen fellow agents. During this same time, Becca also co-founded the software start-up, Velvet Elves, which is a transaction management software for real estate agents.
Becca first got in to the industry as a real estate appraiser. As an appraiser trainee, she focused primarily on commercial real estate before starting with StreetLinks Lender Solutions as a quality control reviewer. She helped create, develop, and grow the company’s training and recruiting departments, training over 600 employees before going out on her own.
Homegrown here in Center Grove and a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in communication, Becca’s first career was in television. She started as an editor at the CBS/FOX duopoly in Jacksonville, Florida. She worked her way up to producer and produced a daily newscast for more than 5 years before moving back to Indianapolis to produce the Emmy-winning Daybreak newscast at WISH-TV for over a year.
A graduate of Leadership Johnson County and MIBOR’s REAL Academy of Leadership, Becca is also a past chair of the Southside MIBOR board. She volunteers with Fletcher Place Community Center and the Humane Society. She has one amazing daughter, Alex, and a fur-family of three, including her dog, Pan, and her cats Chippy and Iggy. In her free time, Becca enjoys reading, baking, hiking, and most recently, target shooting. She also loves swearing but won’t do it in front of clients unless they swear first. 😉
